Overview and league

The u11s Reds have now been together for 4 years during which the team has gone from strength to strength. As such, the players have firmly positioned themselves at the higher end of the Surrey Youth League. Season 2019/2020 will see the boys testing themselves and competing against some of the strongest teams in the whole of Surrey.

Objectives for this season

As always, our key objectives on the pitch this season will focus on player and team development. Our training sessions are designed to focus of key areas of the game, including ball mastery, 1v1, team play, speed/transitions & finishing. Our success will be determined on how each player improves and develops. Matches will be used to accelerate the boy’s progression. Off the pitch, our summer recruitment process was a huge success with the squad welcoming 4 additional players who will help raise standards right across the team.

Last years successes

Last season the boys established a firm understanding of the game and developed a deeper believe in their own and collective ability. As such, the team quickly moved up the leagues and finished playing league games in Division 2. Their high standards continued into the summer tournament season where a highlight was winning the Ashford Town u10s plate competition.
