Our Club

The Metropolitan Police Youth Football club is committed to The FA Charter Standard Programme – offering well-run and sustainable football that prioritises child protection, quality coaching and implementation of the Respect Programme.

The MPYFC has teams for Under 7s to Under 18s and the football season typically runs from the second weekend in September through to the second week of May, with home games at Imber Court or Old Tiffinian Sports Ground, East Molesey.

Training

Our training has an intense focus on player’s technical abilities and we aim to improve their understanding of how such skills are transferred to a match situation. All teams train weekly and we follow the England DNA. Training is a mandatory requirement and all players are expected to attend wearing their MPYFC training kit consisting of Met shorts, socks and training top.

Respect

As a club we are passionate about young people being able to develop and flourish in an environment that is fun, supportive and stimulating. We are fervent supporters of the FA’s Respect Campaign (We only do positive) and we are constantly working towards improving the attitudes and examples that people involved in community football display towards players, match officials and supporters.

Safeguarding

The FA seeks to do everything it can to support a safe and enjoyable framework for football. Please watch the safeguarding video below, and see the Club Members' Handbook for more information on our safeguarding commitment.

MPYFC Codes of Conduct

All new players and managers must agree to abide by the MPYFC codes of conduct. These are outlined in the Members' Handbooks, which can be viewed from the player and manager information pages:
