Overview and league

The under 14 girls are now in their sixth season playing in the Surrey County Women's and Girls League, with a number of players having been with us throughout that time.

Objectives for this season

In our first year of 11 a side, our main objectives are to continue develop as a team, integrating the new players, while making sure we have fun whilst improving our individual and collective skills. Beyond that we want to learn about the challenges from a new size pitch, the increased number of players, and the greater need for both positional and spatial awareness during a game.

Last years successes

In our second season of 9 a side we showed that we had developed enormously from the previous year, finishing in the top half of the table and pushing both the league winners and runners up very close in the matches we played.
Although over the course of the season our main strikers scored most of our goals, we got more and more to score during the season, and in the final game had 6 separate players on the score-sheet!
