Boys Under 9 Blues

Overview and league

The Met Police under 9 blues have now been together for since they first started at the U7s, We currently play our football in the top division of the Surrey Youth League.

Objectives for this season

We train once a week where the boys focus on different skills and areas of the game. I work hard on encouraging the boys to keep possession of the ball and mastering control of the ball, while continually being able to pass and move and use the space on the pitch. I encourage the boys to make their own decisions on the pitch and to be creative when on the ball.

We have just made the transition from 5 aside to 7 aside so there is more focus on positional play this year, As well as training with me a lot of the boys will train with Elliot clubs to further their performance.

Last years successes

The boys had an outstanding season last year playing over 22 games and only losing one! A milestone that we are hoping to go one better this season.

During the summer we entered 7 tournaments of which we won 6 with some outstanding performances at Elm Croft FC, Abbey Rangers, Halliford FC and Worcester Park to name a few.
